Logo design has always been at the heart of what we do, so we were delighted to have not one, not two, but NINE of our logos featured in the book ‘Brilliant Logo’ published by BNN Publishing, Japan including our work for Abbey Road Studios, Essex Print Studio, FaceTime, Snowsport GB, Assemble London, Sparks and Virgin V Festival.
There has been much debate in recent years about the role of the logo, with many questioning the relevance of a mark in the digital and experiential branded world we live in today. We believe, as do all our clients, that the logo remains vital to any brand. It is the figurehead and communicates many messages about what a company or service stands for, representing the ‘tone of voice’ of the brand.
With Abbey Road for example it was our idea of reimagining the famous zebra crossing as a chevron that inspired a whole graphic language which went on to inform the entire world of the brand’s identity.
