It was an honour to attend opening of the exhibition The Jam: About The Young Idea at Somerset House, London last week together with a healthy smattering of music glitterati. The exhibition is one not to be missed if you liked The Jam or indeed music in general, and is packed with old photos, posters, cuttings and quotes about this influential band.

One thing that really struck us is how Paul Weller was a visionary and so in control of his brand from day one. He was sketching out stage set designs and how the band might look on stage in the back of his school books from a very young age, almost carving himself out as a style icon, even back then.
