#FormTwentyOne speakers confirmed…

As part of our week long 21st anniversary celebrations we are hosting an evening of quick-fire talks on innovative marketing methods. We have 6 great speakers – who work across live events, music, fashion, and TV – who will share their insight into new ways of connecting with your audience.

Here’s the line-up:

Liz Goodwin – Head of Marketing, Polydor Records
Music acts (and their marketing teams) have had to adapt in a constantly evolving and challenging consumer landscape. This talk will map the journey of one band – Elbow – through a decade of change in the music industry, focussing on the marketing and strategy employed in order to achieve this increasingly rare feat with incredible success.

Gareth Currie and Richard Marshall – United Agency
To continue the theme of social marketing in the music industry, this talk will focus on some innovative case studies highlighting the use of social media to create an enhanced connection between bands and their fans.

Robert Dunsmore – Creative Director, SO Group
We’re only human and LIVE and EVENT based marketing is growing as traditional forms of marketing becoming increasingly ineffective in a multi-channel online world. Live experiences are lasting and emotional, tapping into a opt-in-choice based economy to blur channels and ultimately continue a two-way conversation. This talk will discuss the unique proposition that experiential and event based marketing has to offer.

Lupe Prada – Group Marketing Director, Taste Festivals
In just over 8 years, Taste Festivals has served over 1 million Passionate foodies, since its launch in 2004 Taste has produced over 56 festivals in 20 cities around the world. This talk will discuss the unique challenges faced when rebranding such a rapidly evolving show and the strategy involved in unifying the events global identity.

Matt Cole – Freelance Creative Consultant
From Coca-Cola to Volkswagen, more & more globe straddling brands are getting into the Happiness Business when it comes to engaging with and rewarding consumers through advertising. Via a few case studies and some audience participation, this talk aims to give brands 5 rules of how to “Get Happy” with your audience and will hopefully leave you with a smile on your face.

The talk will be followed by Question & Answer session.
